How to Change the Currency in SuiteCRM
To change the currency in SuiteCRM, follow these steps:
- Log in to SuiteCRM: Open your web browser and log in to your SuiteCRM instance with your administrator credentials.
- Navigate to Admin Panel: Click on the profile icon at the top right corner of the screen and select “Admin” from the dropdown menu.
- Locate Currency Settings: In the Admin panel, scroll down to the “System” section. Look for “Currencies” and click on it.
- Add or Edit Currency:
- To add a new currency, click on the “Create” button. Fill in the details such as the Currency Name, ISO 4217 Code, and Symbol.
- To edit an existing currency, find the currency you want to change from the list and click on the “Edit” button next to it.
- Set Default Currency: If you want to change the default currency, you need to ensure that the desired currency is set as default. To do this, find the currency in the list and check the “Default” checkbox next to it.
- Save Changes: After adding or editing the currency details, click on “Save” to apply the changes.
- Check User Profile Settings: Each user in SuiteCRM can also set their own preferred currency. To ensure consistency, you might need to update individual user settings:
- Go to “User Profile” by clicking on the profile icon and selecting “Profile”.
- Scroll down to the “Advanced” tab and check the “Currency” field.
- Select the desired currency and save the changes.
- Verify Changes: Ensure that the currency changes are reflected throughout the CRM. Check various modules like Opportunities, Quotes, and Invoices to confirm that the correct currency is being used.
